The type of grip depends greatly on the size of the players hand in relationship to the ball. The larger your hand the fewer fingers will be placed over the ball. A teen player with average hands will have a 3 fingered grip. This allows for much better control. If you are using a four finger grip it will allow the ball to push out of the side of your hand causing accuracy issues.
