It started when Henry the 8th said that kicking a ball around was actually a good idea so he called it soccer. Now in 2011, we call it football or soccer but in Amarica they call Rugby football insted. The reason that Henry the 8th also thought that it would be a good idea was because he could get some entertainment and not get really bored. One day as well, people say that the villagers said that it was a good idea because it would give them a chance to have fun and not work all of the time because they also thought that they wanted a challenge, and so Henry {the king} said that football had started and after that all the football teams had started like wolfs and Arsenal and Chelsea.
