When one of the teams has 7 or more fouls in one half, the penalty is one free one-point shot, which if made gives another opportunity. When a team has 10 team fouls, 2 free one-point shots are given as a penalty. If a shot is successful, only one penalty shot is given (3-point play).

When a team has more than seven fouls, every next foul they have the other team will get to shoot "one and one". That means that they get to shoot a free throw and if they make it they shoot again. If they don't make it, they don't get another shot at it.
