Tottenham Hotspur last beat Manchester United at Old Trafford ( in all competitive competitons ) in the 2012 - 2013 season.

The match took place on Saturday 29th, September 2012. Tottenham won the game in a 3-2 thriller.

Jan Vertonghen and Gareth Bale gave Spurs a 2-goal lead in the first half. In the second half, 3 goals was scored inside 4 minutes. Nani scored first for Manchester United, quickly followed by Clint Dempsey (for Spurs) and Shinji Kagawa (for United).

For the rest of the second half Spurs was bombarded by United but held on to claim all 3 points.

Manager for Spurs was Andre Villas-Boas and United Sir Alex Ferguson.
