Green Bottles, Not Green CokeI don't believe Coke itself was ever green, but it came in green glass bottles.
Coca-Cola has never been green, although some Coke bottles are made of green-tinted glass.
Well, I remember when it was in green BOTTLES, but not green cans.
Coke was originally a green soda, thus the green bottles!
No. Same color as today. The bottles, before the days of coke tines, were tinted green to help protect the contents from the deteriorating effects of sunlight.
Coco Cola has always been brown. It's just an urban myth that is was green, probably arising because it used to be sold in green bottles.
Plastic
Coke cans are wider and are more sturdy where as coke bottles are smaller at the bottom, and are glass, which break easier, so therefore, it needs more traction. Unless you meant the plastic bottles. :] Then I don't know, this was just an assumption. <3
The original 6 oz green glass Coke bottles held 177.4 milliliters. The larger 12 oz bottle (notably the white dot modern bottles) was 354.8 milliliters,The later "one way" 10 oz bottles contained 295.7 milliliters. The 16 oz bottles held 473.2 milliliters.A two-liter bottle contains 2000 milliliters.
