yes, when one player is not doing what the coach wants them to do or is not doing good or has been playing for to long, or if the coach just wants to switch them with another player in the game than the coach can say "sub" and will put another one of his players in the game and take the player out that the coach doesnt want in the game.

There are four quarters (of 15 minutes) that make up the one hour game. During the breaks of each quarter, players swap and change positions. If a player is injured he/she may call time and if needed, substitute another player on court.

If a player is injured, you may substitute at any time, but other than that, you can only substitue every quater break.
