Llanelli - The team were previously know as Llanelli Scalets and were famous for having 2 saucepans on top of its goal posts to comemerate the song Sospan Fach (a folk song called Little Suacepan). The new ground is now on the outskirts of the town itself called Parc y Scarlets - The former ground was Stradey Park made even more famous by Welsh folk singer Max Boyce who wrote a song recognising a historic win by the Llanelli side over a famous and powerful All Black team in the 70's simpley called 9-3.
