The Sugar Bowl has been played in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana since 1975, except for 2006 when it was played in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia due to Hurricane Katrina. From 1934 - 1974 the game was played in Tulane Stadium.
