A hoplite's helmet was commonly referred to as a " Corinthian helmet." This type of helmet was characterized by its distinctive design, which included a full-face coverage, a prominent nose guard, and often cheek pieces. It was made of bronze and provided excellent protection while allowing for limited visibility and ventilation. The Corinthian helmet was widely used by ancient Greek hoplites during the 7th to 4th centuries BCE.
