To find the answer, you might want to watch the Season 5 premiere of "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Squad" on CMT the night of October 15, 2010.
When they were first accepted into training camp, they assured Kelli that DCC was their first priority, but they lied. In doing so, they took someone else's spot who actually cared about the squad. They were kicked off when they put the pageants first.
According to the official Dallas Cowboys Media Guide, no one named "Etter" was ever on the team's active roster. Call this guy's bluff and ask him for proof. Don't be surprised if he can't produce any. And claiming he "tried out" for the team does not make him a former-Cowboy.
According to the official Dallas Cowboys Media Guide, no one by that name has EVER been on an active roster for the Cowboys. If you know someone who claims to be a former Cowboy, call his bluff and ask him for proof! Don't be surprised if he can't produce any (and no, claiming that he "tried out" for the team does not make him an ex-Cowboy!).

Debbie Does Dallas is a 1978 pornographic film starring Bambi Woods. The plot of the film focuses on a team of cheerleaders attempting to earn enough money to send the title character to Dallas, Texas, to try out for the famous "Texas Cowgirls" cheerleading squad. The fictional name "Texas Cowgirls" was seen as a take on the real-life Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Woods had previously tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in real-life, but was rejected. The film was highly successful, is regarded as one of the most important releases during the so-called "Golden Age of Porn",and remains one of the best-known pornographic films. Contrary to the title, the film is not set in Dallas nor does the eponymous Debbie "do" anyone in or from Dallas. The movie spawned a number of sequels and spin-offs including Debbie Does New Orleans, Debbie Does Wall Street and Debbie Does Dallas Again.

Yes Abigail made the 2008-2009 DCC squad. In fact she is on the cover of the DCC 2009 swimsuit calendar and is featured in January. Also she is in the very center of the 2008-9 squad photo. She has tried out for the 2009-2010 squad and currently is in training camp in hopes of cheering at the new Cowboys Stadium as a 3 year veteran. She is 20 years old. It has been rumored she will not try out for the 4th year as may go to college outside of Dallas (unclear if she will set her sights on becoming a doctor like her mother who is an ophthalmologist)
