No but American football cleats can be used for lacrosse
Football cleats are heavier and more supportive, whereas baseball cleats are lighter. Baseball cleats can use metal spikes, while those are not used for football cleats. Studs on baseball cleats tend to have the same length, while for football cleats, the length varies. :D your welcome !
There are two ways to fix this problem: 1) Specially designed cleats for lacrosse only, such a warrior's burn 2.0. Even though there is a limited amount of lacrosse cleats, big companies are coming out with cleats specially for lacrosse. Such as the new Nike talons. 2) Use football cleats specially made for turf, grass, etc. They are not made for lacrosse, but as in football, they are light, good for cutting, and have good protection for your ankles.
yes because soccer cleats are used for speed just like football shoes
No in many instances you will wind up with turf toe. Its an epidemic in Texas. Reebok has teamed up with Brine to fund a turf toe research facility. I highly advise you buy football cleats for football and save your lacrosse cleats for lacrosse.
some use it for support on their ankles
You can but it might not give you enough ankle support :)
No, 2 inches is the max.
