Rugby is a team sport kind of like American football and soccer, but there are no pads and you can only pass backwards. Union has 15 players and League has 13 players i think!

Rugby you are split into Forward and Backs. Forwards do almost all the tackling and rucking where as the backs do a lot of the running and scoring.

There are a considerable number of rules in the game. The basic aspect of the game is that 2 teams aim to carry a ball to the opposing teams goal line where it is grounded to make a "try". An attempt to score an extra amount of points is given by "converting a try" - Kicking the ball between the goal post and over the cross bar.

The rules of the game are available in a range of languages through IRB.com - This is the Union codes main body.
