To play softball you need cleats, pants, socks, and a jersey (or T-shirt if its practice). Also shorts, sliding shorts, and sliding pads may be substituted for pants. You will want the sliding pads to cover your knees so when you slide you wont get hurt as easily.
You should wear shorts, and cute flirty top, with converse sneaks!

The Phillies retired #1 in honor of Richie Ashburn in 1979. The last player to wear #1 for the Phillies was outfielder Jose Cardinal in 1979.
Probably the most famous player to wear that number for the Phillies was Hall of Famer Steve Carlton, a 300-game winner who pitched for Philadelphia from 1972 to 1986. The Phillies retired No. 32 in honor of Carlton in 1989.
Mike Adams of the Philadelphia Phillies
The last Phillies player to wear the #42 was P Toby Borland between 1994-1996. The number was retired by all MLB teams in honor of Jackie Robinson at the start of the 1997 season. Other Phillies that wore #42 include P Dave LaPoint (1991), P Don Carman (1984-1990), P Ron Reed (1976-1983), and P Jim Nash (1972).
Dodgers are doing terrible against the Phillies! It's only because of the Phillies stupid mistakes it's 1-1. The Dodgers lost to the Phillies the first game, but they almost caught up.....kinda. The second game was because of the Phillies suckish throwing to first base. Dodgers need to do better!!!
They wear them in honor of Robin Roberts who passed away during the 2010 season.
