Quarterback sacks are commonplace in the NFL even with all of the extra rules in place to protect the quarterback. The title of most sacked quarterback has gone to a variety of men. In 2009 it was Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. In 2010 it was Jay Cutler from the Chicago Bears. 2011 saw Aaron Rodgers once again hit the ground the most. He was followed by John Elway of the Denver Broncos in 2012. Finally in the 2013 season Ryan Tannehill of the Miami Dolphins was the most sacked.
I can answer this. My hubby is a football coach, so I have some good authority for this one.
Let me tell you, the quarterback sacked the least amount of times is the one that never plays.
Then again, it could be 'cause he's just plain ugly and can't get a girlfriend. Or boyfriend, for that matter.
You still with me, honey?
...the Devil loves you, too.

Romo, who was a quarterback at Eastern Illinois University, was not selected in the 2003 NFL college draft. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent, but did not play for his first three seasons on the squad. He became the team's starting quarterback midway through the 2006 regular-season and has been the No.1 starter ever since. The 2014 regular season was Romo's 12th as a member of the Cowboys.
