Kevin Rusnak wore #23 for the Buckeyes from 1967-1969.

Rusnak also was an outfielder for the Buckeyes Baseball team and was 'involved' in one of the most famous bloopers that ever occurred in the MLB amateur draft. In 1970, the Yankees drafted him in the 11th round ... 19 rounds later, the Phillies also drafted him. How could this be that a player is drafted twice? Well, the guy the Yankees drafted was Kevin Ruznak and the guy the Phillies drafted was Kevin Rusnak. Bowie Kuhn, then the MLB commissioner, awarded him to the Phillies because they had spelled his name right on the draft form.

Rusnak played one season (1970) in the Phillies minor league system and then left baseball.
