Ice skating requires you to be very strong. Many muscles are used, i know since I am a figure skater myself. You have to have a very strong core, and....well basically a really strong upper body. Your thighs, calves, and glutes must also be strong, as well as your ankles(not a muscle but they are definitely used!). These muscles help you jump, hold you upright in the air, and keep you strong while spinning! Hope this helps. <3 :)

Alot of thigh muscles. when you look at professional skaters they all hae masive thighs. But there's also alot of abs, and butt muscles involved.

Well, from my experience, your lower leg muscles. Over long periods of time, muscles may also develop in your arms.
