A yellow card can be for a player of for the coach. When it is for the player, it is because they have been very unsportsman like. They could have yelled at a player on the opposite side of the court, or they could have yelled at the referee. If the coach gets a yellow card, it is because they have yelled at the referee. When a player or a coach gets a yellow card, the other team gets points added to their score.
coaches and players can get yellow cards for misconduct. it is a warning, and if you get two yellow cards it has the same effect of a red card, and you are asked to leave the pool deck.

Bench Conduct-
Yellow card can be awarded to the head coach, the bench collectively, or a player in the water (only one person per team in the water). Assistant coaches and individual players do NOT get yellow cards and are liable to skip to reds depending on the severity of their actions.
Yellow cards in the water- In NCAA and FINA, the rules on Yellow cards are for simulation and actions leading up to possible misconducts. For example, if a player consistently fakes a foul for 3 possessions in a row, they may receive a yellow card for persistent simulation (aka flopping). Should another person from that team do that action persistently, that person will get a misconduct (exclusion with substitution).
Red Cards- In NCAA, NFHS, and FINA the Red card means that person has to leave the immediate playing field and can no longer partake in that game and must leave the bench. In the 3 jurisdictions, the offending person will get at LEAST a one game suspension. In FINA, do not be confused with a person in the water getting a misconduct red card (which is a circular hand motion with a red card in hand) which means that person may no longer partake in the game and must leave the team area ( no suspensions are carried AKA exclusion with substitution and may play next game). From there, if a player does something else to warrant a Red card, a Red card may be awarded (Upgraded from Misconduct to red card) which will give them a one game suspension.
if you score a handball it will be a red card or yellow card or a foul
According to the rules of the International Handball Federation, A yellow card is a warning. You can only get one yellow card per player and 3 yellow cards per team. A red card is for disqualification. If a player receives a red card, they are suspended for the rest of the match. The team will continue in numerical inferiority for 2 minutes. The International Handball Federation has a helpful guide called "Handball Rules for Beginners." You can also find more information on their website (I wish I could add the link for you ihf.info)
Joe Cole got a straight red card for a very bad tackle , so it is a three game ban, but the laurent Koscielny got a red card after he got a second yellow card for a handball. This is a one game ban.
yellow card is sort of like a warning and if you get 2 yellow cards your suspended for like 1 or 2 upcoming games, its usually for minor things, like a small trip or so, red cards in the other hand usually suspend a player for usually 3 or more upcoming games no more than 5 i believe, and usually are gotten for using too much force in a tackle or basically being an idiot and hitting someone or fighting with the referee or stuff like that, hitting other players, cussing out the referee badly, etc.
The RFU Junior Vase 2nd round match between Streatham-Croydon and Old Walcountians, held at Frant Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey, UK on 6th November 2010, yielded an astonishing eight yellow cards, with Old Walcountians scraping through 23-22. Last night's (20th March, 2009) super 14 match between the Hurricanes and the Bulls saw a record number of yellow cards for Super Rugby being given. The referee issued a total of six yellow cards, or 5 yellow and one red (one player was yellow carded twice and his second yellow automatically became red).
You cant get blue cards. You can get red and yellow cards though. You get a yellow card for a foul or diving or a minor handball. If you get two yellow cards then you get a red card and get sent off. You get a straight red card for a bad foul or a goal saving handball or a goal saving foul. ____ There are blue cards in indoor soccer and beach soccer. Word Cup, European and English soccer don't use the blue card. I don't believe the MLS does either. The blue card is issued for minor violations and the player is generally sent off the field for a few minutes to serve a penalty.
The yellow card will be wiped out in the quarter finals
it cost nothing
Yellow Card Man was created in 2006-12.
