Some professional athletes and coaches can't get enough of the sport and become a host on a sports show or something like that. for example, Tiki Barber, Michael Strayhan, Marshall Faulk, Deon Sanders, Mike Ditka, Dan Marino, Tony Dungy and many more. Although some prefer to relax and move away with their families.

NFL coaches penson is complicated to calculate, but for those coaches on teams that participate in the plan, they can earn up to 75% of their top 5 consecutive years average salary per year for life from age 65 on. This includes salary from playoff games. The maximum pension benefit per year at age 65 is 200k. Roughly, at ge 65, they will get 5% of their average salary each year they work up to a maximum of 15 years (75% of ther salary) per year of retirement. They also have the option of a lump sumbnefit age age 65
