Pro Bowl players on the two Super Bowl teams will not participate in the Pro Bowl.

No, the players do not pay to go to the Pro Bowl. The winning team of the Pro Bowl game get significantly more money than the losing team, however both teams are well paid.

Traditionally a scholastic bowl team consists of four players. However, alternates are allowed, and players can be swapped at a half point in the bowl, or between games; bringing the total number of players to eight.

I was told by players in the super bowl they can get 15 tickets each, also it should be noted they are not free tickets!! The players pay from 800-1500$ each ticket. And it doesnt include practice squad players only the the rooster players. Players on injured reserve are not included also.
All first team Pro Bowl players get paid. All Alternates who accept the invitation to play get paid. If an Alternate is named to the tem and declines, they are not considered to be Pro Bowl players and they do not get paid.
