NBA 2K8 graphics are better and the rosters but the NBA Live 08 is based on the playas and there style...for example LeBron James can do dunks like he do in a real game and no other player on the game can do what he can do...2K8 has a dynasty mode alot better than NBA Live 08 but there is more things you can do on 08 than you can do on 2K8 for example: NBA All Star Weekend...So really its a tie.Lil CastAnswerDefenetly NBA 2K8, because if you great graphics, and amazing Dynasty mode, and you can do dunks that are only ment for certain players, that only they can pull off. Live 08. the graphics are weird, the players are jumpy, they cannot flick passes, and the players emotions are just not as great. Even though it has NBA All Star Weekend, NBA 2K8 has Dunk Competition, and 3 Point-Shootout, it's in a diffrent environment, but its the same thing. And shots are smoother. And i have NBA 2K8 for PS3, its the best, get NBA 2K8 -DD87412I agree with both. But i would choose NBA 2k8, It might not have the all-star weekend but if you look pass that, everything else is better. I remember when I useto just buy all Live games until i played 2k game for the first time, it changed my whole mood about Live. But it really depends on what you are looking for in a game and what game you like.- SuperStar #3AnswerDefinitely 2K8. The graphics are good and the game just plays better. In 2K8 DD87412 is right the shots are smoother than Live 08 Answer2K8 Has better graphics, more real, and better rosters. Shot are smoother, players look better, and the only con I found was no slam dunk contest in the franchise mode.
