The pitch is 22 yards
The size of a cricket pitch is 22 yards......
It depends on the size you are in length
The full length of a cricket pitch, that is from one set of stumps to another, is 20.12 meters, or 22 yards. However, most pitches have an additional metre or so of additional turf wicket preceding the bowling crease (a minimum distance of 122 cm), which increases the total length to somewhere close to 22.5 metres. The full breadth of a cricket pitch is 305 centimetres, or 3 yards 12 inches, however the popping crease extends further from the turf part of the wicket by an additional two feet, or 0.61 metres. Same as that in International Cricket - 22 yards
Officially football ground should be about 100 to 110 meters in length and about 64 to 75 meter wide. And the radius of cricket ground should be minimum 130 meters from boundary to boundary squares the pitch. So, cricket ground is much bigger.

The largest size of a full football pitch is 90m wide by 120m long. Multiply these two dimensions if you want the area (10,800 m²) :] :p By Husna
