There is no limit on the number of foul balls.
It depends on the referee, but usually anything foul or rude from a player can get you a tech and/or when the coach continuously yells and/or curses (esp. after already receiving a warning).

In the NBA, one has to commit 6 fouls to be disqualified from the game, so they so-called 'foul out'. In college or high school basketball one can foul out with only 5 fouls though.
