I think the best souvenir from Mexico is something that has to do with the culture its self. Jewelry or maybe some type of clothing. Choosing the 'best' souvenir would also depend on what part of Mexico you are visting. Here in Yucatan, for example, you might want to buy a traditional Mayan dress, (huipil) or a guayabera shirt.
