I would probably say, I will give you a range to be more helpful, 180 to 200 lbs. Note: Size doesn't matter so much as strength. Noel Devine from West Virginia was 175 and he ran over guys twice his size.

5'10" 190lbs. used to be the average size, now they are between 5'11'' and 6'2'' and at least 200 lbs, most run 210-240 lbs(any bigger than 230 and your more looking at full back size.) I play running back at a D1-AA or D1-FCS school and I am 5'10'' 185lbs and I am considered very undersized. The other 3 running backs we have on the roster that I am competing with this fall are all over 200 lbs I am the only back on the roster under 200.

6 foot and 250lbs would be great, but can be as low as 5'8 and 170 lbs
