Squirts are 9 and 10 year olds. If your child is good enough he can leave mite early (under 8 year olds) and go to play squit. Right now in 2009 players who were born in 1999 and 1998 are sqirts. Obviessly next year it will need to be kids who were born in 1999 and 2000. It does not matter when your birthday is as long as you are born in the right year.

There's no true "age limit." It truly depends on how well your body can maintain the physical affect of hockey.

Tier II AA hockey is a youth hockey level for players in the categories of mites/novice, squirts/atoms, peewees, bantams, and midgets age groups. This is the 2nd-highest youth level behind AAA hockey.

16AA is a level of Midget hockey under USA Hockey, meaning the age limit, and the level of play, AA being a high level
the age limit would depend on the youth. I started teaching firearm safety and shooting to my children and grandchilden at about age 9............. No im a police officer for Chambers County Ive done it for about 7 years the age limit for young youth is age 10 but you were close. please quote the law that limits age to 10 for teaching firearm shooting to youth ?? I know of no law in N.J. that so limits firearms training to youth.......... Of course there may be a law in your state on age limit. I am a retired police officer and my primary firearms teaching was my children and grandchildren. Very little teaching of children outside my family. I have observed firearms teaching of scouts down to age 7......................Again, each state may be different ?
There is no age limit for hockey schools, you just cant be over 40 and have to be older than 18!!!!!! That rule applies in every state in every country
you can start hockey at any age. just contact your local hockey association,or find their web site and they should have details on when their registration is. any youth program should have a team to fit your skating skills. I am a youth coach and see players start at all differant ages, if you have the will and desire to play you will have no problem catching up to most of the better skilled players. I don't know where your from but here in mn. anybody can play at any age.
Almost all coaches at the youth age are volunteers. Coaches that make money are high school's, junior's, and a few top Canadian and American AAA hockey programs.
