What is the Game of the Century?

From what I know, Most say the Game of the Century took place in 1971, between the then #1 and #2 teams in the country, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oklahoma Sooners. In the 70's and 80's, that was one of the biggest rivalries in the then Big 8 conference. It took place every Friday, day after Thanksgiving. That day, Nebraska won 35-31 down in Norman, Oklahoma.
