The T-Blade skate blade system is very helpful in many ways. It help[s with agility because of the circular holes in the blade support. It is also much lighter than usual skate blades. They are usually worn on Graf skates. But I have Bauers (Nike) and and I also have the T-Blades. One pro that I know of that has the T-Blade system is Jochen Hecht, who plays for the Buffalo Sabres(he also wears them with Grafs).
what is so special about the nervous system
Yes, a figure skate blade that is riveted to the boot can be removed and replaced, but, depending on the circumstances, it's not really recommended. If you're upgrading the blade, it usually means that your skating ability has also improved. If that's the case, you'll want to upgrade the boot as well since your current boot may not be stiff enough to handle whatever stunts you're now trying to learn. Riveted boots have plastic ABS outsoles, so they're capable of only handling a certain level of skating. If, on the other hand, you're replacing the blade just because it's old, rusted, poorly mitered or bent, and you want to be able to keep skating for fun and exercise (and you absolutely love the feel and comfort of the boot), then changing the blade on a riveted boot should be no problem for someone with the right tools.
Inline skating is so much easier. Ice skating requires a lot of balance and so does in line skating, just not as much.
The Speed skating skates have no stopper but if you are good at speed skating you don't need them. They have very large wheels to make them go faster. They don't have any ankle support so you must have very strong ankles, but if only just starting speed skating your ankles will get stronger as you progress.
This kind of blade is typically called an ice skate blade. Ice skates help reduce friction with the ice, allowing for smooth gliding and rapid movement. They are designed to be secure and stable to support efficient skating maneuvers.
50 USD or so
1.When you skate don`t look down at the ice. 2. When you get on the ice skating rink don`t use your toe pick(it`s at the beginning of the blade on the skate)to push to make you move faster on the ice. 3.When you glide/stroking(stroking means push)on the blade you have to have good posture (posture means balance)or you will fall on the ice! 4.When you start doing jumps make sure when your up in the air you bring your hands in so you have speed. 5. When you start doing spins bring your arm s in so you will have more speed. 6. When you do your spins make sure your on the ball of the blade(the ball of the blade is in near the middle of the blade is) not on the back of the blade or on the front of the blade. 7. Make sure you have FUN!
The sharpness of the blade has nothing to do with the skate itself, but rather the person that sharpens it. Skates are usually sharpened once a month at Ice Hockey rinks with sharpeners, so it doesn't matter which skate you buy unless you buy a skate with the new T-Blade System. The T-Blade System sells blades separate from the boot, so you can choose both the sharpness and length of the blade.
I would say its when people skate purely for the aesthetics of it all, skating so people see you skating instead of skating for the fun of it. Recently with the resurgence of skating a lot of people are skating just so they look cool and fit the trend.
