An entry-level player can earn a maximum of $850,000 per year. The limit rises throughout the agreement, to $925,000 in 2011. But players on entry-level contracts can earn bonuses (e.g. for reaching benchmarks like goals or goaltender wins)

Jan 8 - 2011, this has now changed t $900,000 the first year up to $1,000,000 the third of an entry level contract.
