A catch, usually by an outfielder running in on the ball, that is made with the glove practically touching the ground (at the height of the shoestrings).
Play catch for 30 minutes or so attempting to catch the ball in the pocket each time. Then rub it up with lanolin, place a baseball in the pocket area, and tie it shut with a shoestring or string and leave it for at least 24 hours.
