Curbstone Setter is yet another slang term for a mixed breed dog. Compare to Heinz 57, Summa (Some of this and some of that!), Mutt, etc. We have two of them adopted from the animal shelter. When people ask what they are, we tell them they are Lithuanian Curbstone Setters. Among our favorite moments is when a "know it all" responds with something like "Oh, Yes I've heard of that"
