Harvards football teams mascot is the mighty unicorn bob. They chose it in 1860 after the great battle in the tree top forest of averline this was fought between bob and puff the magic dragon over the female griffin named Delilah. Bob won the battle but puff got Delilah and dominated her with his massive dragon dong later killing her through internal bleeding.
The Harvard Football team's nickname is the Crimson, as in the dark red crimson color. This is similar to the Stanford Cardinal, which also uses a color as their team name. Also similar to Stanford, which uses a pine tree as its mascot, the Harvard Crimson's mascot is a pilgrim/patriot-looking character.
