When a player gets scouted in soccer, it means that a talent scout or a representative from a professional team has identified their potential to play at a higher level. The scout will typically observe the player's skills, physical attributes, and overall performance during matches or training sessions. If the player impresses the scout, they may be invited for further trials or assessments to potentially join the team or academy. Getting scouted is an important step towards a professional soccer career.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?

First off, you want to be on an academy team or on a really good club team. If you are getting scouted for college, then I would contact the coaches before you have a tournament or college showcase to see if they can watch you play. And if they like you, your off to a good college!
