A spread betting forum is a betting forum where you spread your bets around. If you diversify your bets you have a better chance of winning and making money.
A teaser is pretty much the same as a parlay bet (you must win all bets to win, if you lose one you lose even if you win all the other bets). The main difference is that you can move the point spread to your benefit. For example, if the point spread is: Seahawk: +10 49ers: -10 You can move the spread to make it look this way: Seahawk: +4 49ers: -16 Usually you can move the spread 6, 6.5 or 7 points (you'll rarely get to shift it 10 points, but it can happen); however, for every half a point you shift the spread, the payoff decreases. Finally, ties are considered as a loss by most sportsbooks, but not all are as strict - some reduce the number of bets by 1 and adjust payoff according to the new amount - so you need to read the terms carefully before placing these bets (just so you know which are the rules).
Spread betting is illegal in all states in America. There are also some other countries around the world where it is against the law to place spread bets.
all up in the butt
A sports spread is used when bets are being taken on sporting evens. Spread betting gives a gambler the ability to decide if the amount of points given for the spread will be lower or higher than the difference between two team's actual scores.
In general, futures bets of any type can be placed up until the start of the first match of the event that you are betting on. So, for the NFL season (the event) total team wins, bets can be placed up until the start of the first game of the NFL season.
A point shaver is a player who purposely misses shots and free throws in order for him and/or the bookies that control him to win bets that have been placed on the game.

Not that I've ever heard. All bets are not winners - most bets lose the money.
