Jamaal Wilkes was the 1974-75 NBA Rookie of the year. During his first season in the league, while playing with the Golden State Warriors (who won the championship that season), Wilkes averaged 14.2 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.3 SPG and 0.3 BPG in 30.7 MPG.

David Robinson was the 1989-90 NBA Rookie of the year. He received 100%(!!!) of the votes for the Rookie of the Year award. In his first season in the league, while playing with the San Antonio Spurs, Robinson averaged 24.3 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.7 SPG and 3.9 BPG in 36.6 MPG.
Darrell Griffith was the 1980-81 NBA Rookie of the year. During his first season in the league, while playing with the Utah Jazz, Griffith averaged 20.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 2.4 APG, 1.3 SPG and 0.5 BPG in 35.4 MPG.

Elton Brand and Steve Francis were the 1999-00 NBA co-Rookie's of the year. Brand and Francis each received 47.9% of the votes for the Rookie of the Year award. In his first season in the league, while playing with the Chicago Bulls, Brand averaged 20.1 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 1.9 APG, 0.8 SPG and 1.6 BPG in 37.0 MPG. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (known at the time as Lew Alcindor) was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1969-70. He won the award after scoring 28.8 PPG, grabbing 14.5 RPG and passing 4.1 APG for his Milwaukee Bucks in his first season. That same season he also won All-Rookie 1st team, All-Defensive 2nd team and All-NBA 2nd team.
