Nope. There are no age limitations. A few years ago, South Carolina (USC) had a 30 year old on their roster. Eligibility is determined by years of college, not year of age.

The fact that Helias is much smaller and therefore has a good student to teacher ratio is a huge plus in the Helias column. If you are into football, then JC is your school. The football program at JC is the reason Jefferson City has the biggest high school in the state. It is overcrowded, and quality education almost always suffers in that situation. In addition, in just the past five years, many incredibly qualified teachers have left JC because education there has taken a backseat to the football program. In my opinion, there is no comparison between the two schools. The graduation rate for Helias is just over 99%, with 98% of Helias graduates attending college; the graduation rate alone for JC hovers around 84%. The situation may improve if the city would ever build another public high school, but until then, JC will never be the best choice for quality education. If parents cannot afford Helias or the new Lutheran high school, then they must take their chances with JC as it is yet the only public high school in this area.

Yes. It's quite common to have "JC transfers" added to a team during each recruiting cycle. Some schools are more traditionally known to include these types of players than others (Kansas State for example).
