The right wing is an essential player on any line. They have to shoot, defend and stick up for there team mates like any player. Also, right wings may be called to take faceoffs if the center is waved out. Right wings are also an essential part of cycling the puck in the offensive zone. Therefore, right wings do pretty much everything just like every other player.

If its in the offensive zone on the left side then you should be in front of the net with your stick down just in case it come to you. Be Prepared!!! If it on the right side go for it and keep throwing out in front of the net. Also, if its in the defensive zone and on the left side stay on the hash marks for a break out pass from the defense, and if its on the right stay on the top of the left circle (high slot).
