What does a referee do in dodgeball?

1 Referees will be positioned, during game play, at the center line, on one side of the court. A Referee's primary responsibility is to serve as an arbitrator for difficult calls, start and maintain game flow, ensure safety of all participants and spectators, and enforce the Sportsmanship Code.
