Look at their Franchises and then ask yourself that again. The Steelers
In 1962, the Steelers equipment manager Jack Hart applied the logo to the helmet (at that time the helmets were a solid gold color) and the Steelers were uncertain how it would look. So he applied them to the right side only. Later on, even after changing the helmet color to black, they left the logo on the right side only, due to the teams new found success & uniqueness of the logo. The Steelers are now the only team with a logo on only one side of the helmet.
The Steelers logo was introduced in 1962 and is based on the "Steelmark," originally designed by Pittsburgh's U.S. Steel and now owned by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). In an ironic twist, it was Cleveland-based Republic Steel that suggested the Steelers adopt the industry logo. It consists of the word "Steelers" surrounded by three astroids (hypocycloids of four cusps). The original meanings behind the astroids were, "Steel lightens your work, brightens your leisure, and widens your world." Later, the colors came to represent the ingredients used in the steel-making process: yellow for coal, orange for iron ore, and blue for scrap steel. While the formal Steelmark logo contains only the word "Steel," the team was given permission to add "ers" in 1963 after a petition against AISI.
The Steelers only have one logo because when they originally put the steel mark on the helmets they wanted to see how it looked on the gold helmets and put it just on one side. And later that year they went to the playoffs for the first time so as good luck they decided to change the helmet to black to show the logo better and keep the one side.

Sorry bandwagon Steelers fans, this will be the second season you get beat by the Ravens twice. Admittedly, the Steelers have been just a little better than the Ravens for the past 10 years, but not this year. There is just a very limited amount of talent on the Steelers this year. The Pittsburgh Steelers are nothing this year. The Ravens won the first game 17-14. The Steelers won the second game 13-10. Look at that, the Steelers with their limited amount of talent just beat the Ravens for a second time in 2010.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 100% a better team than the Green Bay Packers. I am a fan of both teams, but if you look at the stats the Steelers are far better. For instance, the Steelers have won 6 Super Bowls where as the Packers have only won 4.

Steelers are the older franchise. On January 28th, 1960, Dallas was granted an NFL franchise. The team was first known as the Dallas Steers, then the Dallas Rangers before settling on the name "Cowboys" for the 1960 season. They notched their first preseason win with a 14-3 victory over the New York Giants on August 27th, 1960. Their first regular season game as an NFL franchise was played at the Cotton Bowl on September 24, 1960, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which they lost 35-28. The Cowboys recorded their first non-losing game with a 31-31 tie with the New York Giants on December 4th, 1960. They ended their inaugural season with an 0-11-1 record. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers were founded on July 8, 1933. They are the seventh-oldest franchise in the NFL. The Pittsburgh team was known as the Pirates until 1940. In 1940, management held a team naming contest in which a fan submitted the name Steelers in homage to the city's predominant industry. In 1962, the Steelers adopted the "Steelmark" logo, which had been created by U.S. Steel Corporation and later turned over to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) so that the design could represent the industry as a whole. While other NFL teams adopted logos during the 1950s, the Steelers simply added the players' numbers to the side of their gold helmets. It was at the suggestion of a Cleveland company, Republic Steel, that the team began to apply the Steelmark to its helmets. Unsure how well the logo would look against a gold background, the team elected to place the Steelmark on just one side. The word "Steel" inside the logo was changed to "Steelers" with the permission of AISI. When the team played in the 1962 Playoff Bowl, management, to mark the occasion, painted the Steelers helmets black, a change which served to better highlight the logo. The new combination was so well received that the team decided to make the look permanent. As a result, the Steelers became the only NFL team with its logo on just one side of the helmet. So, in sum, the Steelers are the older franchise. The Cowboys logo (lone star) and color scheme was adopted 2 years earlier than the current Steelers logo (the AISI Steelmark) and black helmet.
Pittsburgh Steelers logoThe team logo, introduced in 1962, is based on the old U.S. Steel logo. It consists of the word "Steelers" surrounded by three astroids (hypocycloids of four cusps). The yellow hypocycloid represents coal, the orange one is for ore, and the blue one represents steel scrap. The Steelers are the only NFL team that puts their logo on only one side of the helmet (the right side). The Steelmark was originally created for United States Steel Corporation to promote the attributes of steel: yellow lightens your work; orange brightens your leisure; and blue widens your world. In order to test out the Steelmark and see how it looked on their all-gold helmets, the Steelers equipment manager was instructed to put it on only the right side of the helmet. That year the Steelers finished with a 9-5 mark and became the winningest team in franchise history to date. They wanted to do something special for their first postseason game, so they changed the color of their helmets from gold to black, which helped to highlight the new logo. The interest generated by having the logo on only one side of their helmets along with the team's new success, the Steelers decided to leave the helmet that way permanently. Today's helmet reflects the way the logo was originally applied and it has never been changed. The actually name references the strong steel industry in Pittsburgh, and the three diamonds are for each river that flows through Pittsburgh, which is the Monongahela, The Allegheny, And the Ohio River.
Go to NFL.com and look at the records of the teams. The Ravens won the tie-breakers over the Steelers in opponents as well as AFC North record. Ravens went 3-3 in AFC North, Steelers went 2-4.
