What do you need to play cricket?

A bat, a ball and something to act as a wicket initially.

The kit includes following:

you need 11 players on each team to play cricket. other equipment you need is:

A bat and a ball plus three sticks stuck in the ground verticaly at the either end of a strip of dirt/grass (turf) 20mts long and 3 meters wide situated in the middle of an oval. note : this is a very basic answer, if you want to know more move to a country that plays it LOL.
