The easy way to recognize a linking verb is that a linking verb acts as an equals sign, the object of the verb is a different form of the subject (Mary is my sister. Mary=sister); or the subject becomes the object (My feet got wet. feet->wet). In the sentence, "Ellen could have chased the hockey puck into the corner.", Ellen is not and does not become the hockey puck. The verb, "could have chased" is an action verb.

There is really no correct answer to this question. It depends on what each person thinks. Figure skating is hard because you've got to be able to twirl and then stop twirling and not get dizzy, and also executing jumps perfectly. In hockey, you have to be able to slam into players and continue on, and focus on a small puck while focusing on keeping it under you control. --- In my experience, figure skaters tend to be able to beat hockey players in races, but hockey is a game in and of itself, which skating is only a part of, however, figure skaters are usually better skaters, but you could be the best skater in the world and still not good at playing on a team, handling a puck, etc.

In the 4th book, Mr. Canis, Mr. Hamstead, Sabrina and Daphne Grimm head to Faerie. In the 3rd book Puck got his wings ripped off from the jabowocky. When they arrive, they realize Puck's father banned Puck from returning, so Puck's father cannot help Puck. Titania, Puck's mother, persuades him to help Puck. Soon after the process, the King is poisoned, and the Grimm's have a new mystery to solve.
Just watch where you got hit carefully, and if it begins to swell up, put an ice pack on it for 15-20 minutes, take it back off for 15-20 minutes, and put it back on again for the same amount of time. Hopefully you were wearing padding where you got hit, and if you were supposed to, wear the padding.
