I would recommend the SLG because with the smart parts ion u have too upgrade it a lot to make it a great gun, with the slg itz fine right out of the box it comes with a better board an asa already on the gun and a clamping feedneck.
The ion that is isoelectronic with Xe is Kr+. Both Xe and Kr+ have the same number of electrons, with 54 electrons each.
The electron configuration of Thallium III ion (Tl3+) is [Xe] 4f14 5d10, where [Xe] represents the electron configuration of xenon (54 electrons) which precedes thallium on the periodic table. Thallium loses 3 electrons to achieve a noble gas configuration.
performance wise, the ion, maintenance wise the electra, look into the ion xe, it has the same performance as the ion but the ease of maintenance of the electra
These are the noble gases: He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn.
An Ion is short for the marker, the smart parts "ION." It is an electro-pneumatic marker with impulse barrel threads, ion feedneck threads, and reverse threaded regulator threads. The classic ion cost about $200, where the new ION XE costs about $220.
The abbreviated electron configuration for Pt (platinum) is [Xe] 4f^14 5d^9 6s^1.
The G3 is the lightest marker in the Paintball industry. The internals are 100% different to that of an Ion, which consists of a firing can and multiple O-rings. The G3 has a similar bolt system to the Ion XE, though does not need a firing can and uses less O-rings. This makes up keep much easier and the gun much more efficient. As stated before the G3 is the lightest marker in the paintball marker at the moment, weighing 1.83 ounces. It is priced around 300.00 msrp. (Nearly the same prize as an Ion XE with a virtue board.
The element with an electron configuration of Xe 4f14 corresponds to the element Gadolinium (Gd) with atomic number 64. When it forms a 4+ ion, it loses its 4 outer shell electrons, ending up with a stable electron configuration.
a new feed neck or a drop forward
Van der Waals forces, specifically London dispersion forces, are the most important intermolecular forces in allowing Xe gas to liquefy. These forces arise due to temporary fluctuations in electron distribution around Xe atoms, enabling attraction between Xe molecules.
Good question. Iv had an ion for 2 1/2 years and i love it. I think this is a great choice for a low budget. When you get an ion NEW it should come with a barrel already. But you can always upgrade.I recommend you use compressed air, co2 could hurt your gun. A good reliable compressed air tank would be a 45 cubic inch 4500 psi air system by pure energy. This is what i use. It's not the cheapest but it is hard to find a cheap compressed air tank. Now on the hopper, any electric hopper will work. DO NOT USE A GRAVITY FED HOPPER! Your ion will shoot faster then the hopper will feed.If you wanna take your game to the next level here are some upgrades i own/recommend:virtue boardvirtue laser eyesvirtue easy on14in freak barrel systemclamping feedneckon/off valvedye rotor hopper w/ speed feed360 QEVNDZ razor triggerPlease right me back and let me know how this helps or how your ion is!dude if you have the new dye rotor, why the hell do you have an ion? go buy a used dm8 or something.if you have not purchased the ion already i suggest staying away from the basic ion do to its poor design on the part of SP. now the Ion XE on the other hand does a much better job since it has a BOB feature but is a lot more expensive, on the cheaper side there is the vibe which is essentially a ion xe without eyes and there is the blackheart vibe which is eventually a ion xe with a blackheart board and eyes for much cheaper than the xe
