Answering this question on the surface, the divisions of the NCAA are equally old (created in 1973). If the person asking the question was referring to conferences instead, the oldest conference in College Sports is the Big10. It was created in 1896 with Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue, and Wisconsin as its 6 flagship members.
