Depending on the style of play, as well as the field, there are multiple options. You could have one player shoot a lane, while you run. You could snap in and out of a bunker. You could also burn a lane out of the gate while you have a runner to the bunker.

In speedball, holding your lanes down and make sure you can cover the guy getting to the snake is the best way to win.

In woodsball, covering your front players and keeping team momentum going is about all you can do.
