A basket toss is a cheerleading stunt in which three or more bases toss a flyer into the air.
Two bases, a backspot, a frontspot, and a flyer. So, 5 in all.
A thigh stand
Not JUST one person does the work. It takes everyone, including the flyer, to make the stunt happen. Bases- the muscle of the group they help drive up the stunt and keep it there they balance the weight together. Backspot- keeps the stunt steady (also takes weight off of the bases) Flyer- keeps body tight (legs, bottom, etc.) and hardens core muscles. The flyer pushes off the bases shoulders and keeps balance.
It is important to have a spotter in cheerleading because whenever a new stunt is being attempted, there is a higher chance of the bases and backspot missing the flier on her way down from a stunt. Having a spotter will help reduce the chance of the flier being seriously injured. It is important for the spotter to be paying attention to the flier at all times.
The cheerleading stunt for which one person is held at the waiste is called the prep.
yes u can do a stunt with only 3 people... but make sure that you have spotters... you need a flyer and then 2 bases... but the bases have to be stong or the flyer has to be light and carry her own weight...
a liberty is a variation of s stunt, often called a lib. a flyer stands with one foot in her bases hands, and the other positioned at her knee( think of a flamingo )
Back hand spring?
An elevator is a stunt where both bases' arms are fully extended, so it depends on how tall the bases are.
