If you are short you are better off playing Centre, Wing Attack and Wing Defence. If you are quite tall than you should probably start playing, Goal Shooter, Goal Keeper, Goal Attack and Goal Defence. There are 7 positions on each team, your opponent team has 7 to. Goal Keeper plays on Goal Shooter, Centre plays on Centre, Goal Defence plays on Goal Attack and Wing Defence plays on Wing Attack and vice versa. Each player gets a certain amount of court. Goal Shooter gets the attacking third and the attacking goal circle, Goal Attack gets the centre third, the atacking third and the attacking goal circle, Wing Attack gets the centre third and the attacking third, Centre gets the centre third, the attacking third and the defending third, but not the two circles, Wing Defence gets the centre third and the defending third, Goal Defence gets the centre third, the defending third and the defending circle, Goal Keeper gets the defending third and the defending circle.
GS stands for GOAL SHOOTER, GA stands for GOAL ATTACK,
WA stands for WING ATTACK, C stands for CENTRE,
WD stands for WING DEFENCE, GD stands for GOAL DEFENCE,

The seven positions are:
Goal shooter: Stays in the shooting area and shoots goal when ball comes to you staying away from Goal Keeper.
Goal Attack: Runs out for the centre pass and try to get in shooting circle to shoot goal staying away from Goal Defence.
Wing Attack: Runs out for centre pass and try to get ball in there shooting area staying away from Wing defence.
Centre: Runs down all of the court staying away from opposing centre trying to get ball in there shooting area.
Wing Defence: Try to stay with wing attack and get the ball to take to there shooting circle.
Goal Defence: Keep up with Goal Attack trying to defend the ball and take to there shooting circle. Also get any rebounds Goal Attacks get.
Goal Keeper: Stop the Goal shooting and getting all rebounds.

you could search the internet for the rules and let them watch netball games on you tube. And if they are in year 6 or bellow you can let them play in school netball.
Its different because indoor netball is more cooler but outdoor is still a bit the same its just to get air for the players .And when its cold the players need to get more hard rock so to be more numb and get harder to play.
