Matt Cassel is the current quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.He played College Football at The university of south California [USC].He was backup to 2 different Heisman trophy winners while attending USC.The fisrt was Carson Palmer than it was Matt Leinart.He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2005 in round 7 pick 230.In the 2008 season Cassel took over the the Patriots when Starter Tom Brady got hurt during week 1 against Kansas City.He finished the 2008 season 11-5 but failed to make the playoffs with New England.During the offseason after Super Bowl XLIII Cassel was traded to Kansas City with fellow teammate Mike Vrabel.
