On April 3, 2009, Corie Blount pled guilty to two felony possession charges in a deal to avoid trafficking charges. He was sentenced May 13, 2009 to one year in prison. He was also fined $10,000 and ordered to surrender $34,000 in cash as well as two vehicles seized in the bust. He told the judge that it was all for personal use, in which the judge came up with a quick comeback stating "Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much."
