Obviously this is an opinionated question -- but the best NBA 2k game would have to be 2k11. It all starts with the soundtrack on the game, including prized possessions like "Symphonies" (Dan Black) and "So Far" (The Redlands). It also has the best gameplay, it's quick, elusive and clean.
You can't forget one last part of this game in your nostalgia run to play this game once more. Players who are less known or don't have the best ratings can be the under-the-radar best players in the game. (See Hedo Turkoglu, Dejuan Blair, Luis Scola, and John Salmons.)
