The current height of Basketball rim in NBA is 10 feet or 120 inches from ground. However, in 2013 NBA commission decided to raise it to 12 feet from the following season as a measure to make league games more challenging for the players.

No. The size of a basketball rim never changes. It will always be the size of 2 basketballs (regulation size) put together.
