Bert Jones was never elected to the NFL Hall of Fame. Jones was drafted as the number 2 pick overall in 1973 NFL entry draft by the Baltimore Colts. He led the Colts to an AFC East Championship in 1976, passing for over 3,100 yards and guiding them to an 11-3 record. For his efforts he was voted the NFL Most Valuable Player.
